TSA Approved Combination Locks
TSA: TRANSPORT SECURITY ADMINISTRATION
With increased security at airports, there are times when U.S. Transport Security Administration (TSA) agents need to check your bags before they join you on the plane. Unbeknownst to you, your bag will be opened and the lock protecting your gear can be broken rendering it useless when you arrive at your destination. Thankfully, TSA Approved Locks allow TSA (US) agents and HRSC (UK) officers can open and relock your bag using codes and secured tools, without the need to break your lock in order to inspect your luggage.
What does this mean for travellers?
When travelling to airports across the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Israel, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, South Korea, New Zealand and soon other countries, security agencies are equipped with tools that allow them to open, inspect and re-lock any items of luggage secured with TSA LOCKS without damage. These locks can also be used for travel to all other countries.
